This isn't a question about the tubebuddy plugin it'self, so moving it to YouTube strategies.
Remember, the algorithm follows the audience. Know what you want to do for the next 5-10 years on your channel, then do some research on some topics that are in high viewer demand.
Have a good quality thumbnail (learn some basic design principles to get you started)
Have a compelling title that's interesting and searchable.
It really is all about having a topic that people actually want to watch, maybe it answers a question they have... and when they search for your video, your thumbnail has to make them want to click. Your thumbnail really has to be amazing to get attention these days, otherwise you need a good title that basically says "this video will answer your question really quickly, won't waste your time, and will make you want to come back for more"
And never beg for views or subs, there's nothing worse than hearing a plea for subs at the start of a video. Have a good hook, let the viewer know what they are about to watch, and make your subscribe call to action super short.
