Answered 15,000 posts gained bug?

I noticed that in the little status area on the main page of my channel TubeBuddy tells me I gained 15,000 views, however, my analytics on my videos do not show where I've gained 15k views. The only thing I can think of is that I hid a video that had 15000 views for a few days and made it public around that time. Is this a bug or a feature? Thanks

Making a video private subtracts the views. Making it public adds them back. That is actually YouTube doing that. TubeBuddy is just reporting the data differences returned from the YouTube API based on that change.
