Equipment is all in the eye of the beholder. We just use GoPros for all of our recording.
Editing.. you can go anywhere from Open Source (free)... to higher end software. We use Filmora... but when we upgrade our PC down the road, will probably switch over to Premiere.
Also.. are you editing on PC, or on Phone?
