YouTube Question Forming an LLC for YouTube?

I recently became eligible for monetization on YouTube which is AWESOME!

I would like to sign up for monetization using an LLC.

My question: I already have an LLC for a digital marketing business that I don't use anymore. Can I use my current digital marketing LLC to sign up for YouTube monetization? Or should I start a new LLC with the name of my YouTube channel?

Country you are in makes a big difference here. As @Damon says you should talk with an accountant.

I would note that there are non-financial reasons to consider this. You can actually attach IP ownership to the LLC. But that is nuanced and you need to discuss with both an accountant and a lawyer.
