There is no quick fix on growing you channel. Content is king so it takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Look at each video as a new way for people to find your channel. If you have 1 video there is one way for people to find you, if you have 10 it's 10 ways, 100 it's 100 ways, 1000 it's 1000 ways. So you need to focus most of your energy on creating more videos. Now of course if all your videos suck it doesn't matter much if you have 10 videos or 100 so always try to make your next video better than your previous one.

Look at YouTube as a search engine you want your videos to show up in one of the top spots, nobody will scroll down to video number 200 in the search results. As a new or smaller channel this usually means that you need to niche down or focus on a smaller sub niche since much larger channels with millions of views and hundreds of thousands of subscribers will take the top spots. You could ignore this and try to build your channel anyways focusing on marketing your channels in other places than the search results, it's hard but possible.

Study your analytics, YouTube won't recommend videos that are getting bad stats. A very important one is audience retention (how much of your video people are actually watching). A low audience retention makes YouTube believe that your video sucks since everyone is leaving it quickly without watching much of it, so make sure you don't try to click bait views or just spam your video on random places on the internet where people have no interest in it, since that will lead to very low audience retention. By studding your analytics you can try to under stand this better, are you since it will tell you when people stop watching. Maybe most of the people watch the first 27 seconds but there is a large drop off at the 27 seconds mark. They you can watch your video and trying to understand why that is. Maybe you go off topic, maybe you start rambling, maybe you say something offensive, maybe you are not getting into the relevant stuff fast enough maybe you just need to improve your story telling or different ways to get the viewer hooked. Try new and different things in each video until you find something that actually work.

Study your competitors inside your niche what are they doing that is doing very well? Can you do something similar? Can you do something even better?

Where is the spam link Stanley?

The one thing I noticed on youtube. Is that everyone says the same thing about growing. Upload 1-2 times a week, always use the same day(s) for upload, engage audience, study trends, make enticing thumbnails, learn keywords and optimize descriptions.
