Hey kindredspirit, everything on the bottom right you should shift to the left. Youtube will cover it with the length/time stamp.

It looks good and we agree with previous comment to just move that icon on the right as will end up being covered!
Shrink the left text a bit so that the "e" in Pancake isn't flush with the edge. That helps improve legibility. I would consider lightning the image a bit. It comes across dark at smaller sizes. Others have mentioned the right corner issue. Generally speaking, leave a "gutter" around the edge of the thumbnail so that everything is paced a bit from the edge. That helps with legibility as well.

Easier to read for sure. I would move your channel details slightly ups nd right so they are not flush with the edge. Always try to leave a little space.

What software do you use? In Canva you can change the brightness and contrast of the pancake photo.

Try clicking on the pancake photo and then click the Adjust button. Brightness and contrast controls will appear
