Looking for some tube lights to enhance our set up. We want to put it behind the sofa so it shines on to the wall! Ideally one that can change colour and will not break the bank! Any suggestions?

I've actually been looking into these myself. From what I can tell, most of the less expensive ones are all the same light under different brands. Most likely something bought off of AliExpress and branded.

That said, are you looking for it to be visible or hidden? Because if hidden I might recommend one of the newer light strips that support multiple colors simultaneously.

The nanlite pavotubes seem to be quite popular on YouTube right now and are a quality reputable name brand. But I haven't personally tested these - I just see Tom Buck, Peter Lindgren and other popular channels using them. It's certainly worth a search on YouTube as there will be a lot of coverage.

I do own 2 came-tv boltzen andromeda slim tube lights, which I personally use to light up my background with a color like blue or to light a green screen really evenly. I liked the myriad of 1/4-20 screw threads these ones have so I could rig them up on either side of my green screen.

For a more-permanent (stick on) RGB light strip behind the couch, I did a review video of the Elgato Light Strip which is specifically designed to not flicker on video (vs Philips Hue will flicker on video in certain modes and frame rates). This is meant to stay in one place in your house or on your set and not move around like the tube lights and is basically a 6.5ft long tape strip of LEDs.
