YouTube Question Ad campaigns and monetisation: Looking for clarity

I am aware that watch time from ad campaigns through youtube doesn't count towards your 4000 watch hours etc. But if i did paid promotion on our another platform say facebook promoting my youtube channel would that affect anything. e

Not personally paid for ads on FB but would not expect it to excluded from your watch time on YT. TBH organic growth has worked best for me.
