Man people really like getting hung up on this disclaimer. Here's the deal; when you download a camera ap on your phone you have to assign permissions in order for that app to use the camera. This is the same way. Because TubeBuddy is a browser extension that gives you insight into your analytics and provides an extra layer of tools in YouTube studio it needs permissions in order to do so. just like the camera app. TubeBuddy is not going to actively go into your channel and delete anything... it simply needs your permission to allow you to delete, edit etc.

Ah okay. Yeah you're right about that permission, I know many apps doing so, I was worried at first that tubebuddy can really delete my video lol.
