Hello,

I am working on embedding a link into a photo image, and I have a question. In the red image below, with the white triangular image, what is that image called, and where can I get a copy?

Thank you

It is the YouTube logo. Search google images for plenty of them.

Thank you very much SILTHW !

I never knew that page existed.

You should teach a class !:yum
Google images has been around for a good 15 years at least :p I'm surprised people aren't aware of it. You can also search by resolution to make sure you find high quality images rather than low quality.

OK, I confess . . .,

I am a Newbie,:confounded:

So what would be the easiest, or best way to embed a link into a photo image?

I am a big Chiefs fan!

I am thinking about uploading a video about the Chiefs to Youtube, and emailing my friends and telling them to click on the photo link with the Youtube logo in the center.

I've never really emailed a YouTube video to friends before, but theoretically the video should just have the thumbnail show up in the email on the recipients side? But I do know some email services treat embedded videos differently, so you could just attach the photo to the email as an image. That's how I'd do it. I guess you could email it to yourself first to test how it shows up to the recipient.

You will just use standard HTML for the body of the email.

HTML:
<a href="THE URL YOU WANT"><img src="THE IMAGE FILE" alt="ALT TEXT FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT LOAD IMAGES"></a>
