YouTube Opinion Who else is doing podcasts on YouTube?

I am new at this and I am curious on how you are running your channel to draw people in? I would love ideas. I am recording my podcasts on a budget with just my iPhone and iPhone headphones. I am waiting to see how this is going to go before I spend money I don't have. Are you doing just podcasts or are you adding in other types of content? Please share... I am curious and trying to see if I need to do something different.

I syndicate an audio version of my video podcast episodes via Anchor.fm. I don't use it for VLOGs, just the more formal stuff.

I was actually using anchor for 2 years and it did not work for me. I do not do video podcasts because of a few reasons, but the main one is I do not have a good area to sit up for that.

Yup... I do a podcast as well and the majority of the time it is a syndication of our weekly livestreams

I've considered doing a podcast, but I don't think I know enough about art to warrent a regular podcast that focuses on voice only. Plus I'm not that great of a host or presenter. There's a guy called Vyyyper who is AMAZING at podcasts. It's the whole filling dead air that I find too tricky.

I do know that Nick Nimmin has a "Comments Over Coffee" podcast which is pretty cool and goes to show a podcast doesn't need to be super long, his episodes are between 5 and 15 minutes typically.

i am thinking of doing a podcast on my channel too and i would probably make a separate channel just for the podcast and one channel for vlogs and other videos. this will help viewers watch what they want to see.

I agree. Pretty much 98% of my content is podcasts.
