YouTube Opinion what is YOUR goal click through rate

I know (have read, and watched videos about) the average CTR being between 2-10%. I am just wondering what target you guys aim for, obviously, you don't want to be at the 2%, but what number indicates to YOU that you need to change your thumbnail? I have a few videos (very few) that have a really high CTR- but that is due to only a few impressions... the majority of mine are around the 3% mark, so I need to improve.

To be frank, it depends on the video but a video I think prime content I would want to see more than 7% CTR.

On the other hand, if I do a throw-away video just for my pleasure I don't care about the CTR.

My average is 3-5% but I have got up to 8-12% so my goal I guess for now is to try and get 7-8%
