What's your budget when in terms of "cheap" as overhead tripods can be quite expensive. I've looked into it a bit more an a "C stand" tripod. Depending on how heavy your camera is, if you're using a webcam, you can also use a desk mounted microphone arm which cost about $20 depending on the brand and quality. A C stand or a mic arm will be your best option. A regular tripod will get in the way
It just really depends on your weight of your camera, your lens, and what are you filming to determine which mount would be the best solution.
