The general concensus is you want to let each video breath, people seem to be suggesting let a video sit for 48 - 72 hours before uploading a new video, as uploading too many can potentially cannibalise your videos. It seem that the "best" way of uploading is 2-3 videos are week max. But you can always experiment. try uploading every day for one week, then the next week upload only twice for the week and see how the data for each video, for each period compares. If you're a new channel you still have plenty of room to experiment and try things. See what works best for you.

Yeah, two or three videos a week. I've tried daily, and other ways. It's better to set up for the long term. Two videos a week for a year should give you 110 videos. That will put you in a good position to peel back and see what direction you really want to go. Maybe you want to grow and become more like the shows on Food Network. Maybe you want to do more Travel Channel-type stuff. The main thing is get that first 100 to 150 videos up within two years, and you can "name-your-game" as it were.

I hadn't ever let videos sit for 48 - 72 hours before uploading another one, but that makes sense. Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to schedule new videos so they're spaced out better in the future.
