My badge that shows my channel and subscribers keeps disappearing. Why is that?

That's the YouTube subscriber button...? The badge is the thing on the forums that says "user" your button isn't hiding, however YT doesn't want you to subscribe to yourself, so sometimes they hide it. This isn't a bug...? Perhaps a misunderstanding :)
