currently, I use my iPhone 11 which has a really good video
I was wanting to get cheap lighting setup
Also, a microphone that would work with the iPhone lighten cable since you know no aux
All feedback is appreciated

I use my iPhone 11 Pro Max..
Nothing wrong with it at all for what I need.
Front camera records 4k but I usually just do 1080p 60 frames..
I find the microphone is perfect but saying that, most of my filming is indoors.

I bought a ring light and stand from eBay for about $30.. It has a camera mount in the middle.
That works perfectly and the light brightness and shade can be adjusted..

I use a similar stand/ring light. I like the multiple settings it has, and that it is USB powered (you can strap a battery pack to it). I bought one here in the Philippines for about $12 (600 pesos).

Both found on Amazon for less that $40.

I also have 2 web cams and a DSLR
but my web cams do great
Logitech
runs about $72

and my Xinidc webcam surprisingly has a pretty good HD picture just under $27

Yeah, you can get good gear for cheap these days. Learn about Rembrandt lighting, a. k. a. three point lighting system. $30 at Home Depot and you can have a better lighting system than any circle light from Ebay. In other words the light source is one thing, learning how to use the light is just like learning to use the camera.
