Audio Gear XLR Shot gun?

My Rode VideoMic has killed over. Since my preamp and recorder both have XLR inputs, why not go with an XLR shot gun? I'm thinking of the Audio Technica 897 and the RODE NTG2. Both are about the same price point. What are you guys using?

I've got a pretty nice collection of mics that I use depending on the shoot although I don't currently own an XLR shotgun as I haven't needed one yet. I suppose its something I should likely look at as well though...

I love my rode NTG4+ it's built off the two, and I have used them for a while! It's a great mic the NTG2, I'd highly recommend
