I would recommend an off topic / general chat because I use to manage my own gaming community forums ~10,000 members and this is what really helped our forum grow because it let community members get together and learn about one another outside of the idea of the servers we ran for gaming (in this case out side of youtube).
Next thing I feel would be good idea is perhaps doing random giveaways if you get x amounts of "quality" post lets say 50. I also feel it would be a good idea giving free tubebuddy to top contributors who are active on the forum too. (wouldn't give it to everyone just people who are 2% top or whatever)
I think adding more "tips tricks / resources" just fill this site to the brim with useful information it will gain billion members. I know I personally love coming to forms like YYtalk for all the tips that are on there. Being this is tubeuddy could be useful explaining in depth how to use tagging like how you shouldnt use popular tags of youtubers etc... Talk about strengths of tubebuddy and when to use its features to gain most amount of views. Currently tubebuddy platform and its videos do a good job explaining how to do things but not why or how it effects your channel
