About Me and Being Sammy:

My name is Samantha but I like to be called Sam or Sammy. I created my YouTube channel Being Sammy in 2018 because I wanted to create videos on a variety of disability-related topics to educate and promote inclusion and diversity in the community. When it comes to searching for disability resources there is a hunt-and-pick nature to finding them. Most people that I come across are shocked to find out some resources have been around for decades and they had no idea. Most resources are shared by word-of-mouth. I wanted to create a space where all the information was in one place and was being shared by someone that not only advocates for people with disabilities but has one herself.

Certified Benefits Planner from Cornell University (for Social Security Beneficiaries that want to work)
Information & Referral Specialist (for a non-profit that serves adults with disabilities)
Ambassador and Spokesperson (for ABLE United-FL state holder of ABLE Accounts to help people with disabilities save money for disability-related expenses without jeopardizing their benefits)
