I started painting kindness rocks in 2017 and have been hooked ever since! I started a YouTube channel to share tutorials with our local rock group during the COVID-19 shutdown to help people stay engaged. I found that I really enjoy making these videos to share with others, so I decided to keep it up with a weekly video. I don't consider myself an artist, but a more of a doodler. I often use things to help me--like a font sheet, clip art, and sometimes transfer paper to get the outline that I like. I aim to make my tutorial videos short and sweet so that you get the main idea of the design quickly, but can rewind and pause as needed when making it your own.

Kindness rocks are about spreading joy, not competing art. There is something therapeutic to leaving these little nuggets in the community with the sole purpose of making a stranger smile.
