Real Appeal Gaming

Hello everyone!

My name is John and I am a content creator for Real Appeal Gaming. It's a small channel that creates Let's Plays of games from the past and present. I started YouTube in September of 2019 but my first upload was October 22nd, 2019. I procrastinated for a month and was extremely nervous about everything that was involved with uploading videos. Since we started, we have just shy of 2,000 subscribers which I am extremely proud of.

Before I began, I always loved playing video games. After I watched Markiplier and Jacksepticeye create the content for years, I figured why do what I love for free if I can upload them daily and help spread the cheer of the experience? I'm years behind the people that I look up to but if a different angle is approached then I feel like I'm doing my part.

Another reason I started uploading was I found it therapeutic with friends that I met and still talk to in the Army. Iraq was a mess and there was a mass surge of PTSD that surfaced when troops would return home. When they tried to adjust to "civilian" life, some found it extremely difficult to cope with the lack of brotherhood and structure. They would suffer from terrible night terrors that kept them up at night. If I received a text or a call from one of my battles, I would load up a game and we would talk through issues while playing a first person shooter. After a short time they would log off and I knew that they would be safe from dangers for one more night. You can have whatever political view on events that plague the world, but there is nothing more precious to me than human life and what they can accomplish with the right frame of mind.

Today I'm joined with my best friend Justin as we grind out our craft and try to entertain the masses. I noticed that there is an evolution from the first video we uploaded to the now and the quality has improved daily. I look forward to growing with a community of YouTubers that want to show support and tips to whomever asks. I'm not experienced enough to answer all questions but I will do my best to find the answers if you ask.

Thank you for reading my bio and I look forward to your future successes!
