Since many people are getting flagged with the Not suitable for most advertisers, how about a feature that checks for these words that get the video tagged, I would pay for that. I had atleast a dozen of my videos flagged and my latest on McDonalds Chicken strips was flagged also.
It could be an app that people can add more and more words as they get flagged.

    Thank you
    Steve

Hi Steve - great suggestion. But how do you know exactly what words are getting flagged?

Really hard to say. Here was my keywords from my Flagged McDonalds video: mcdonalds buttermilk crispy tenders, mcdonalds, buttermilk, crispy, tenders, food, fast food, fast food reviews, food review, food reviews, mcdonald's buttermilk tenders, mcdonald's buttermilk crispy chicken, mcdonald's buttermilk chicken, buttermilk chicken mcdonald's,buttermilk fried chicken mcdonald's,chicken nuggets,Mcdonald, fried chicken, burger king, mcnuggets, restaurant,Mcdonalds nuggets,Burgers,Fast Food review, mcdonalds buttermilk chicken tenders, mcdonald's

YouTube would not tell me WHY or what caused it to be flagged.

I'm guessing that it's beyond basic keywords that the programming is flagging content. Otherwise, the false positives that happen so often right now would only happen for a very short time. My guess is there's something more "machine learning" about this (about which I only know as much as my company is looking into it for our software programs, and I'm very non-technical). But from what I understand, there's a natural language element to it and so avoiding particular keywords wouldn't be enough. Also realize that the auto-captioning seems to have a significant role in the process, as I've had videos flagged for things I've said that are taken in the wrong context that are not listed anywhere in the titles, descriptions, or tags.

It would be pretty worthless if they only would check the stuff you put in there one of the main concerne (legitimately) getting adds in front of ISIS propaganda (or pewdiepew) "this beheading was sponsored by McMillan powertools"

I guess they do some image analysis as well - I did a POV workout video recently (told the story a couple of times now) and I can only imagine youtube took that grunting combined with my bare legs for Pornographie (the video got unflagged later after I complained).
