    Hey guys,
I create programming tutorials and when I make a video series, I always put a link to the next part as the only end card into the video's end screen (next to the subscribe icon). For me that made sense.
But now that I thought about it, I wonder if it's pointless or even detrimental.

These video series are always in a "series playlist" so the viewer is usually either inside the playlist, or Youtube follows up with the next part anyways because the algorithm knows that they belong together. So when the viewer is in a playlist and clicks on the end screen element to get to the next part, he will get kicked out of the playlist and linked to a single video instead.

I wonder if I should use the end screen elements for something different instead, considering that the viewer usually gets to the next part of the series anways. I hope you understand what I mean.

I would test out the "Best for viewer" to test this out :)
