YouTube Question New subscribers follow the leader & Invisible subscriber's ? Lets find out

Q1: I have a over 1 year channel i make 1 or 2, 3 videos a week. I have currently 446.. over 60,000 views in total for the whole channel.
I notice recently im getting a new subscriber 1 day per day.... sometimes no new subscribers for a week or weeks... but when someone subscribe to me why does subscribers add me one by another but when there are no subscribers in the entire week no one subscribers but when 1 user does everyone adds me... then does everyone follow the leader or something ? Strange. I mean for example you subscribe to me today... and tomorrow im getting a new subscriber and the following day. But what happens when NO one susbcribes to my channel? then this means no one is susbcribing like it does 1 per day... How interesting right ? Its like as if 1 user subscribe to me on a Monday.. then for some strange reason everyone is subscribing to me in that week..... But when no one does... then no one susbcribes. So whats the ideal to that ??? Is there some strange thing going on that we should investigate how the number rolls in ? I see this rather strange indeed.... Like i said in here.. If no one subscribes then no one does in the entire week. But when 1 does... then im receiving another new sub the following day and the next day.. Whats with that? I have no idea.. I'll let the experts discuss this one.


Q2: I also notice that 90% of all my subscribes to subscriber to my channel are all invisible... nothing was notified of a new subscriber.. Just shows the number (increase) when i look at my channel where of course i show that to the public of how many subscribers i have.. But notice 90% of all the subs are invisible. And only just only that 10% i get notification when a new subscriber adds me but a physical subscriber who has a profile wither he or she has videos or not. But the rest always comes in as like i have no idea who added me as a subscriber.. So whats the go with the invisible subscribers? are those bots... or fake subs because i mean 90% who adds me are all invisible.. dont no who added me all i see is my channel increasing. And nope i dont add fake pay subs or any of that rubbish stuff... So if i cant view or know who just added me... then im suprise that the whole majority of all my subscribers are mainly around that 90% invisibles... and only a small portion about more or less 10% susbcribers that are not invisible. Again very strange and hope this does not mean youtube or someone is sending me fake subs to make it look like an increase susbcribers to my channel..... I'll let the experts deal with this one as i like to investigate as much as u do when it comes to things on youtube.

I'm no expert but I can probably speak for them when I say this... you're repeating yourself. You've already been told YouTube is very random and that most people like to keep their data private. There is literally nothing you can do about the things you mentioned, so just enjoy creating content & building your channel. Sounds like you're doing good.

For the viewing the subs bit, I think it depends on the privacy setting of the viewer. Some make their subscription status publicly viewable, some do not. If they keep their sub status private, you will see your count go up, but will see no information on who it is.

Well... it seems everyone keeps the profile privately and that those people are the one with no videos most likely. I personally wouldn't do that. Now unless he or she has videos.. but has the profile invisible when subscribing to people am i correct ? then i suppose that would make sense.

Yep true that. I was just curious about it. I was like thats very strange 90% of the majority of all subscribers coming to me are like invisible at least Youtube never told me i have a new sub. Unless the subscriber user has the profile publicly of course. Thanks

On Q2: As mention above...

How about the interesting way how someone subscribes to me and then i see another new sub the following day and the next day. But when no one subscribe to me for the whole week.. Then no one does.. To me this sounds as if when a user subscribe to me.. then everyone does it the next day as well? Whats with that ? Sounds like everyone is taking a number where im number 1 i subscribe to you now and expect to see another second subscriber tomorrow. But if i don't subscribe to you today... don't expect anyone else to subscribe to you tomorrow. So whats the go with that ? or at least anyone out there might let me know.. Just see it rather strange though.... Its almost like as if someone subscribe to me today then my whole channel is been seen to the world and another new sub adds me tomorrow. But when no one does... My channel is invisible to thew world?... oh though i doughty it.. And yes this has to happen quite a lot on my channel..... I don't think there are any errors or such

When you subscribe to my channel.. then tomorrow another new sub comes along and the following day after that. How interesting yeah ? But when no one does... then no one adds me for the entire week... what happen there? It sounds as if my channel is visible to the world. But other weeks its invisible to the world ? And when its visible people will subscribe and when its invisible no one knows my channel... well.... my theory to this is.... something oddly is going on because i know my channel is visible publicly to the world that's for sure. But its a strange concept.. wish i knew this one.

I have a channel, but my sub status is private. Who I subscribe to has no bearing on my channel content, and is nobody's business. I can see about 1/3 of my subscribers. Not sure if you have to opt-in or opt-out of showing your status.

Good point. Here you go Kenjackson. Maybe their channel is not private but their subscription status is private. So you wouldn't see who they are when they subscribe to you.

Maybe this is what's happening. Youtube is a social media platform after all. Maybe someone shares your content and you gain a lump of followers at one time. Or maybe it's just coincidence and your followers are just trickling in that way.

I think you really should be asking what are you expecting? How do you think your subscribers should be coming in? You keep saying it's odd but on a social media platform, it's not odd at all.

Just let it happen. 60,000 views? Those are not bot subscribers. So don't worry.

yeah thats what i was just theortically thinking,.... 1 subscribers tells the fellow friends to add this (channel) and so on. So yeah good point there. But also... mysterious as well like i said before... When there is 1 new suysbcriber today i know there is anbother new subscriber tomorrow... But when no one susbcribe to me.. Then no one does in the entire week... i call this strange or alittle bit unusual... Unless also there are things where.... youtube wont let you update whats happening properly. I wouldnt no.

On the other hand yeah thats what i was thinking that person might have the profile visible to the world. But as he or she subscribe to someone on youtube it keeps it annonymously as in private but not that persons profile. That makes sense. But yeah im surprise how much load of invisible subscriber's im getting.... Must be the new normal of invisibles. I suppose this makes BIG sense too.. because.... my profile is visible to the world. But no one can see who i susbcribe to and no one can see who has subscribe to me... I set that private... So if u where to subscribe to me... you will only see my videos.. but you wont no who are my subscriber fans and you wont no who i subscribe too as well... So it makes sense. So its the new norm i think.... However i always and always show the world i have 444 susbcribers... and i have over 100 videos.. numerous. By the way yesturday i had 445 subscribers and now its back to just a weird number 444 WITH 111 videos as of today and since then...... Maybe that 1 sub was a bot or hated my video.. But its hard to believe someone would subscribe to me and then unscriube the following day.. So maybe my theory on this is... a bot subscribe to me and youtube got rid of that bot... now im back to 444 subscribers.. And so far im on 111 videos.. By the way strange numbers at the moment...

People subscribe and unsubscribe to channels all the time. If I find a video that interests me, I might subscribe to that channel so that I have a reference point for that video. From time to time I do housekeeping and unsubscribe from channels that I no longer want to watch their videos. At any given time I might be subscribed to 50-60 channels. That can become unwieldy so I trim out the deadwood.
