Title of thread: Feedback & suggestion to improve quality of my video
Self review: Because I started my gaming channel in a very competitive niche environment and it is hard for YouTube to recommentmy content or even show up in search. I just stared to learn how to create content so I believe I lack the knowledge & experience to edit quality video. I only use imovie to edit and now plan to use CapCut for my future content. Any advise how to improve overall of my video quality will do, Thank you

Get a green screen and add yourself playing, reacting, talking, etc, during the games. Successful gaming channels build a personal connection with the host playing the games and the viewer. If you're too shy to show yourself, use one of the real time avatars and invent an online personality. Otherwise... it's just...another....boring....video....gaming.....channel.

My advice is to try to be helpful. I started a gaming channel doing walkthroughs from my 80-year-old father who was in physical therapy for six months and could not get out. he suffers from depression and A.D.H.D, and not being able to get out was torturing him mentally. I set him up a man cave with a 65" LED TV and an X-Box One with a high-quality gaming headset, so he could play theHunter, Call of the Wild. He loved the game and actually became obsessed with it, but had real trouble learning the mechanics. So I started making walkthroughs for him and uploading them to a new channel I created for them.

That channel took off all on its own and is halfway to monetized status and I have not made a video for it in over a year. I do not show my face, but people love my helpful attitude in the videos and my calm teaching voice. If I was actually working at the channel It would have several thousand subs by now. I just don't have the time and since long-form content on YouTube is now worthless as far as making money, I have no incentive to work on it. But even so, I expect the channel to reach 1000 subs this year with me doing nothing.

My point is, Gaming may be competitive, but you can make it, if you focus on being helpful. I did it without even trying, so if you work at it, you can do better than me.
