I'm currently with motion web hosting and I'm looking to switch out of that provider. The reason is the cost of the hosting itself for a small blog and the flexibility of certificates and technologies I can use. Anyway, I'm looking to have a service-based blog where I'll be using WordPress as the API with a custom front end. I've been looking at porting to Azure, DigitalOcean, Heroku, and Google Domains, to name a few. I guess I'm looking to get your take on how your setup is for something like this. Keeping in mind that I would be looking at Canadian pricing and my current spend is just over $ 200 CAD per year for hosting and domain. Thanks!
