YouTube Question Change the BRAND name of your Youtube channel its a good idea or a bad idea ?

I want to again change my YouTube brand channel to a new channel name... I never seem to settled into a cool and proper name..... now my nickname was good idea of my choice 6 months ago now today im so bored of the name because it sounds like a theme park............. Now i cant decide what name to come up im trying really really hard... i try many NAME generator websites which helps me little bit.....

I simply one 1 name as in 1 single name for example Kenjack with no numbers no separation letters and also no name that sounds difficult to spell... But then again the whole majority of todays world nicknames are already taken on YouTube. So this means us people are making it harder and work hard to come up with a solution name that sounds super unique and catchy and cool. Not a silly name and not ridiculous name......

So changing the name brand of my channel means i will loose subscribers ? if the answer to that is YES.. then why would they unsubscribe and run away ? The channel still the same and same videos and same content. Its just the brand name change i want to do..... Also will this impact who can find my channel ? I want more subscribers i want something to let people catch the sound of my interesting single brand name of the channel in order to boost that subscribers along the way...

Any tips and ideas on this part ? I mean how can people run away if all it is was just change the brand name of the channel....... if the videos are the same and same me and same content then why would anyone wants to unsubscribe or not able to find me on YouTube ???? If that was to happen could this be a fact and true and if so how to fix that if it ever happens.. Unless people are paranoid with peoples changing names on youtube.

With the utmost respect.... Based on all of your posts, which consists of a lot of word salad... it sounds like you're suffering from a lack of overall knowledge about all things YouTube. I spent a long time researching YouTube before I even created a channel. If you're serious about your YouTube channel I think you should do the same. Start researching, learning, as much YouTube information as you can. I would also suggest having at least 2 channels. 1 that is basically a throw away channel that you can use for testing, learning, etc, etc, and the other for your real channel.

I don't mind trying to answer questions, because even if I'm wrong or have opinions that differ from others, we all learn from it. But in your case it's very hard to comprehend some of your questions. Maybe condense your questions into 1-2 shorter sentences at a time separated so they're easier to understand.

Let me give you one example. There is one Pakistani YouTuber "The Graphical Dude" who posts Horror Jinn stories on YouTube. He has 30k subscribers. He didnt post anything on YouTube for 3 to 4 months. Then he returned and changed his channel name to Horror Dude. I realized that now his views are not so High as compared to his last videos. I think the name has an impact on channel growth, but most importantly if you stay consistent on your uploads and you announce about changing your channel name in one of your videos, it will have low impact on your channel. Just stick to your same channel name.

Thanks. But first of all to the point. Why would anyone unsubscribe or not subscribe just because you change your channel name? What impact has that has anything to do if you are to continue doing walking videos as always.. All its diferent is the channel name has been changed. So unless people are paranoid or afraid your going to change your channel name makes no sense..... And obviously its not as im going to change the name into a racist name or a horror name or a childish name.. Just making a proper interesting catchy name... Not a name that sounds pathetic... Not for me anyways.

See if you all can provide me a few listings in your ideas on mind a single name no longer then 9 letters together. No longer then 9 and also there should be no space no underscores and no numbers. Just a name. And if you wish to know what kind of name.. Well i do video vlogs i basically walk around my city doing videos as i walk along it gives the person the virtual feel of been there walking along. So what name should you come up that isnt taken ?

The name has to be catchy but not rediculous name. It has to sound smart and easy to spell out but not a dumb name or a weird unknown name. It has to be some kind of interesting name. Doesnt have to be just (cityguy) or Walkingguy or whatever.. It has to be something catchy to bring attention to the name. Who knows maybe the name might bring people to subscribe to my channel. Currently my URL name on my youtube sounds like a cartoon theme park... it used to sound cool last year but now im bored with it and cant settle into a proper name and perhaps because im working far too much video after video every single week of the year and yet i only currently from now have 427 subscribers.. started in January 2022. Ok but i havent given up.

As long it does not sound:
Stupid/rediculous
Cartoonish.. childish...
Dificult to spell out.
No copycat from other users.. unless it can be smilar but not copy cat names from other vloggers.
No spaces and no underscores and no numbers on the name.
No boring names.

Name has to be:
Perfection
Smart and easy to spell and no longer then 9 letters long.
Catchy and very interesting.
A name that brings attention but also unique and cool.

So if u have the chance give us a few name list here... aventually ill mix a word or so or random play the wheel by spining the wheel on the screen where ill end up good enough select that name IF the names sounds good. Because i mean ill have to choose just 1 name and not all of them.

You see this is why im taking months and on and off thinking of a name to keep without the need to change the url name next year just because im bored with the name. It has to be no longer then 9 letters in one single word. Also not sure if capital letters in the middle is even worth it. For example the one you have listed for example: StreetVibz Why have a capital V in the middle of the 1 word ? should be "Streetvibz" oh though that name sounds almost perfect but not yet have to keep looking for more. See if you can come up for more names. Remember i do city walking videos with the camera. I dont do stupid things on camera. Just mainly walking videos. And name has to be catchy and excitement but nothing that sounds like a clown if u know what i mean.

Good point. I agree on that part. True facts... However what if you dont change it to a name that sounds diferent then what you do? For example i do walking videos... Lets say my name on youtube is called Walkingtheme. But since im bored with the name and its too long i want to call it something like the walker or something. See? still kind of names that has things to do with city walking videos.

See if you can come up with a list of City walking video names that are single name and no longer then 9 letters in it ?
See if something inspire me and ill keep some names and keep collecting more names until i aventually play the spin the wheel online and select that name. But it will take time because im extreme picky or need to settle a proper name that doesnt sound stupid.

Also im not exactly saying it has to be called street or roadwalker or a walker... Its far too basic names.... Look at big youtubers such as (Actionkid) he does walking videos but why its called (action / Kid) ? dont you think it sounds like off name and has nothing to do with walking videos on youtube? Look at another. (Pompsie) he does walking videos big youtuber but why that name has nothing to do with walking videos and it just sounds like a random name of something else ? But his name doesnt seem to relate to the actual walking videos and hotel reviews...... correct ? Otherwise he could call himself MRwalkingguy or the reviewwalker or some related names because he does walking videos and hotel reviews. But why his URL name isnt seem to be related proper name to what he does? .... So as you can see not always like how you mention but i still agree at your point of view.. Personally, I think you're overthinking it - too much energy is going towards a new name which "won't bore you"...

I've given you 10 potential suggestions above - some of which were EXCELLENT for what you're doing (I thought so), yet none were even considered?

And by the way guys... I go to the biggest websites where people genrally recommend for (Youtube name generator) websites.. such as spinxo and others.. What i did was type the name (pompsie) which this name is already taken on youtube and that name is a big user who has massive audience. But why does the wesbite for that name says its not taken for youtube? These websites for name generators are never never acuracy. I try other ways i even try do my own current URL name on youtube and shows its available to get it.... Like what? i already have that **** username but why these websites make it look like its available for you to pick it for youtube ? Those websites seems very faulty..

i try (youtube name generator) when i google this Google shows me websites the most popular websites to visit and then help you find a good name.

But shose websites are not 100% acuracy... and when i play around with it.. i even try add in "pompsie" and that name is already actually taken on youtube by a big fan whos quite famous on youtube... but the name generator shows me its available for me to choose? Makes no sense... If its already taken on youtube then why those websites claim its available for you to name that name on your youtube? Surely there wont be 2 same identical names URL on youtube because it will never work like that. It can if it had an extra letter or number on the end of that name. But those websites are not acuracy and also people still recommend those websites.. I dont get it.

You are an avid poster full of strong opinions, upset, and complaint. What is the name of your channel? Why not list or name your channel in your signature so that everyone has some context on your complaints and comments? You make statements in which none of us can place context. We have no basis to evaluate your comments to your channel.

You have said you are not from the U.S.. Your English is often broken, misspelled, full of typos because you refuse to spellcheck your writing (disrespecting those who actually try to write clearly and correctly). I am not the grammar police and everyone makes mistakes. But you give me the impression as being young, impulsive, angry, and frustrated. Being angry and frustrated is not a good place to be as a creator.

You have a right to be a "secret" Youtuber but it would be helpful to the rest of us if we knew what your channel was. Otherwise, a lot of your comments don't carry as much weight.

Channel name is irrelevant for the competitive topic you're targeting. You will succeed or fail based on your videos, not your channel name.
