in the past few months, I have been gaining subscribers so slowly that I somehow got 2!!!
Wow, I must be dense because you explained the formula quite well in a simple, elegant manner. Once in YPP, the views matter more.No (at least not until you are in the 500k views/month ~ $5k/month ($10 per 1000 views - which is very generous - most niches only pay $3/1k view). The amount of time and resources you put into making a video does not equate to how much YT pays you (if at all). With that said, you need to start doing this as a hobby you enjoy spending time on or else you will quickly corner yourself to quit because time can be spent elsewhere that makes more money. I can make more money serving hamburgers at McDonalds compared to channels with 100k subs serving 500k views/month BUT most channels make more money via sponsorships, merch, and patreon type of gigs. So you just got to do some business planning to make it work.
Facts. That's how I did it.But if you decide to start a legit business and use YT to build an audience which can then turn into leads for a business, you will make far more even on 10k subs. Then Adsense is just extra money.
Having a body of knowledge and life experiences outside of YT gives more creators and edge in some areas. Younger creators tend to prefer creating entertainment & gaming content & sharing their life. More established and mature creators skew towards showing/educating and sharing their knowledge and expertise which is often deemed valuable and monetizable.Ofc that requires learning skillsets that go beyond YouTube content alone.
Having a reasonably established YT channel is very helpful in opening up unexpected opportunities and contacts for sure. It also opens up your mind to possibilities you might never have thought of.100% agree with you there!
Part of the income will be from Adsense; part sponsorships; part brand deals; part coaching/consulting etc. At least, that's what's happening on my side. And, I'm still trying to figure out increase the number of income streams via/through/thanks to YT exposure
Hear hear.Having a reasonably established YT channel is very helpful in opening up unexpected opportunities and contacts for sure. It also opens up your mind to possibilities you might never have thought of.![]()
