Title of thread: We are 2 years in or so and have almost 1400 subscribers but things are slow! We need your help
Self review: We are a cosmetics, lifestyle and beauty channel that has been going since february 2020. We post 3/4 times a week and spend a lot of time learning about the platform. This is not the first review i have seeked but at the moment i feel we are moving slowly in comparison to many other channels in our niche. We review our thumbs tags and titles a lot, try to get rid of the the fluff and identify what is working. But growth is slow. We need some help from experienced Youtubers to help us identify where we can grow and make changes! Of course the more feedback the better. We are aware that at some point we may change our name so putting that aside for now!

Look... I simply asked why you put an angry emoji. I did not block you and I would never do that to someone simply for an emoji, I am sorry that you felt I did that. Your comments were automatically held for moderation, this is not uncommon.

I've been following this discussion since the beginning because I found it very interesting that a channel with 2 years and 600 videos doesn't grow. Looking over it you can see that it is a specific niche and from the comments on the videos you can see that the product is expensive. Obviously we have to pay close attention to comments because they are our guide. I'm not going to watch video for video because that would be mentoring and I'm not the
Tim Schmoyer to do this. Not yet. Going back to the comments, it's clear to me that the video doesn't do the basics, which is to break the objection. What is the objection? The price. How is this objection to be broken? With solid and true arguments that the product is worth the price, that the product is great, that it can be used daily that lasts 2 months, etc., in the video you have to break the objections.
When there are no more comments that the price is high and when the comments are favorable then the channel will start to attract more audience because people will like what they see even though it is expensive because you will transform their opinion.
and one last opinion before being blocked.
If possible use the tubebuddy's Click Magnet feature. You already have 600 videos. learn how this feature works will help you a lot.

I wanted to clear up something! I get the impression that most people who take a look at our channel have looked at our most recent content which is advent calendar reveals. Of course this is not our regular content. Each August to December period because of these advent reveals and unboxings our figures have skyrocketed. This month alone we have gained over 200 subscribers and our channel has changed 400%. After xmas we believe the channel will take a huge drop again. But this is our busiest period.
So any feedback based on recent content would probably be unbalanced. As i feel its not a true reflection. Our market is very saturated and for us we have to be first with a lot of stuff to gain traction.

I used click magnet when we trialled the other licenses. Its a great tool but sadly we cant afford the extra cost each month!

You are smart to focus on this content which is pushing your channel. However I will say this; as much as you may want to believe otherwise you don't get to explain to your audience the difference in your content from August to December and as such you need to consider that this is more inline with being your core content.
