Title of thread: Am I on the right track. Cannot seem to get many subs.
Self review: I've created a channel where I give out 10 facts about a movie/tv show in the horror, scifi or cult genre. My first few vids had sound issues but I've improved that hopefully for the forseeable future. I'm wondering whether to change the name to something shorter and if they're actually any good ! I got some decent reviews mostly through twitter but I rarely get the subs.

I checked out your channel. From what I can tell, you are pretty new. You have 40something subs and they seem to like your vids. Don't just sit back and think that sub will just roll in. Yes, some will. But, get out there and network. Promote your channel and grow organically. I think you will be happy. YouTube is hard, and it takes time. Just keep at it. Also, I subbed to your channel. If you could reciprocate, I would appreciate it! I hope all this helps!

Hey, given the number of subs you have. You are actually doing very well. Don't compare with the big channels. You have almost 2.5x more views on your last video than the number of subs. Keep doing it. If you can upload a little more frequently, that should help.

I think you are doing an EPIC job! Put a-lot of work into those thumbnails and titles and you will do fine.

One problem I had with the video was that when you changed from the first part the volume changed and I was wearing a headset. The first part, the voice was a bit mundane, monotone. Don't be afraid to be theatrical. I liked how you told the plotline without spoiling it. You made me want to see the movie that I otherwise wouldn't see. But my reason for watching your videos would be to see if there is a lot of violence. I love the sci-fi and fantasy genres but I cannot do violence. When someone dies I click out so it's good to know if it's violent or a lot of cursing (for someone else's taste).
