Yes, It is. Just watch some tutorials on youtube and thta's it you can start editing with that video editor. I also use that
When I started out I used Openshot a lot. Then it really started bogging down my system, quit responding during edits, and more. I ended up moving to Davinci Resolve 17 Free Version and love it.
It's what I'm using right now. The only problem is that it slows down my PC when I'm exporting a video file when I'm done editing.
Yes openshot is good video editor but now it is old. you can need to try new and latest software like alight motion this is best software to use. it provide you millions of free template and animation effects. so I will suggest you try this

Yes, OpenShot is an amazing software but other software such as Alight Motion exceeds in quality than OpenShot. Alight Motion offers multiple amazing features such as different templates, animation, visual effects, and many more.

I used OpenShot for quite some time and it worked pretty well. I changed over in the last year to ShotCut and it worked faster on my laptop. It's also a free open source editor like OpenShot.
Yeah, it's good for beginners but professional video editors are using the Kinemaster MOD Apk premium version.
