Gear Advice Help! My laptop camera stopped working!

My system shut down in the middle of a zoom session and when I turned my laptop back on the camera didn't work anymore. I cannot get it to work to shoot YouTube Live, or Facebook Live. All I can shoot now is screencasts.
Can anyone help me get my laptop camera up and running again?

Very hard to diagnose and fix something like that in a forum. Why did your system shut down? If it did so because of an update, it could have corrupted the drivers for the camera. Go to Lenovo and see if they have a camera driver package for your model laptop.

Have you tried re-installing your Webcam drivers or Webcam software? Assuming it's a webcam? If none of your video software is working.. that could be a good place to start looking.

Yes, re-installing the driver will be a good help. And also, some Lenovo models have a manual lens shutter which can be opened and shut with your fingers. See if the camera is shut.

Update auf Win 11 wenn Dein Packt ist würde ich auf jeden Fall tun. Sie können jedoch beim Hersteller nachfragen, ob dies unterstützt wird, da die Treiber wichtig sind.
