How do you promote yourself on here or is it more of a assistant required to help your channel?

In general self promo is not allowed unless posted in specific parts of the forum.

This is the best place to look, but as @Stanley Orchard said above this is more than a place for that. Our rules have where you go, but if you're only here to promote yourself then it's not going to be the best experience you can have.

This is a great community for figuring out the stuff you need to grow at a pace that is much faster than any amount of self-promotion. It's a good place to discuss and hone best pratices; improving watchtime, SEO and perfecting CTR through improved thumbnails/titles etc. Refining all of this is worth FAR more than simply pulling a few subscribers via a community forum.
