If you donΓÇÖt mind sharing about how many views do you get monthly and how much do you make on YouTube?

I get about 50,000-64,000 views or so each month and lately have been making close to $25. Last month I made a little over $28 this month it looks like IΓÇÖll be making around $26

Wow that seems like a lot of views for so little money. Have you tried adding a membership to your channel or even super chat where subscribers can donate whilst doing a live stream? My sons channel is in gaming so might be different butI see all the top channels in gaming doing this and the amount of donations that pile in are astonishing to say the least!!

It is itΓÇÖs crazy. I think to add memberships you need something like 10,000 or maybe it was 100,000 subscribers. I donΓÇÖt do live streams often. Usually I do one for subscriber specials. Might have to try doing them more often.

For a gaming channel you only need 1000 subscribers so easier for gamers I think. Well good luck and hope your revenue grows exponentially!!

When I begun doing YouTube a few years ago I was told to use 1000 viewers = $1 as a baseline rule but then it vary a lot with your niche and the location of your viewers. Some niches pay a lot more others a lot less and adds in some contrary are a lot more expensive/cheaper than other.

My channel is in the gaming niche. During 2016 I was making $0.88/1000 views, during 2017 I was making $0.9/1000 views, during 2018 I was making $1.05/1000 views and last year, 2019, I was making $1.36/1000 views. As you can tell the amount of money I get from 1000 views have been increasing each year and from the start of 2020 it looks like the same will happen this year.

To compare the effect of viewers location, last year I was on average making $3.5/1000 views from Australian viewers and $3.3/1000 views from American viewers. Compare that to viewers from Indonesia that was $0.34/1000 views and from Turkey that was $0.21/1000 views. $3.5/1000 vs $0.21/1000s that's an insane difference. That's $350/month vs $21/month if you channel have 100k views/month. So if you really care about the money there is a lot to be gained by making content that interest people in high paying nations.

I try to improve my content and Seo to make more. I know last year IΓÇÖd make about $10-$15 a month. Now itΓÇÖs closer to $25-$28. So it is going up quite a bit.Looks like last month I made a little over 30 cents per thousand views.

I was getting about 100,000 views, and around $50 a month. Last couple months it has gone down to 60,000 and $25.

I noticed the different payouts by country as well. I have started getting a lot more Philippine views, and my pay dropped. US ads pay a lot better than PI adds. Canadian views seem to pay well, but I do not get a whole lot of them.

I talked, in other threads, about my audience changing over the last couple years. It was almost all over 50 year old, American men. Now it is about 50% Filipino, about 35% women, and a majority of viewers are under 45 years old. Not sure why it changed... but the money dropped off a lot ha ha. (more Filipino ads, I guess?)

Sounds like low CPMS to me :/
