Explain your issue: When on youtube I click on sign-in and it greys out and I can't click on anything then it goes back to the youtube page.

Do you have a screenshot? I used to have similar issues way back and it was a problem with my broswer, something to do with the cache or cookies.
Try installing firefox and seeing if you can get tubebuddy to sign in that way just to test it out first.
