YouTube Question Is click through rate the only important metric for the Split test result?

New User
Hi all,

I have been using the A/B testing tool for the last month. It provides so much information related to how people reacted to the content that it seems a bit vague to me that the only metric TubeBuddy considers to name a "winner" option is the CTR. YouTube cares a lot about watch time and average view durations too... so, what if the content is clickbaity and people just leave the video after a few seconds? In that case, I believe less CTR but longer "average view duration" should win the test.

I don't know, it just seem to me that the tool should analyze more than just the CTR. What do you guys think? Is CTR the MOST important metric? What happens with clickbaity content then?
