Every video creator has a different style of editing and it's really interesting to see how they edit their videos.

Who's your favorite video editor?

I was watching BrutalMoose's latest BrutalFood video yesterday and I love his editing. When you see him, you can tell that he's nervous because of all the outtakes. However, he uses sound effects, nice transitions, and good cuts overall in order to put a comedic light into footages of him fumbling around. Normally, other Youtubers would stop and do another take, but he kinda just pushes right on through. It's refreshing to see it (consider how we see "perfect" shots in other Youtuber's videos) and the editing really brings it all together.

My other favorite is Mr. Sark. Classic.

I'd have to say Defunct land Kevin Purjer he does a great job showing the history of Disney. Something I care about!

It's really good, and I learn a lot watching and wondering, why this shot, I'm still engaged, how can I do this with my content!

I've always seen these videos in my related, for some reason >.> but I never actually click on them because I didn't really want to invest myself into Disney. I gotta say, the introduction is definitely an eye-catcher! I really like the slow zooms into the news articles and stuff, makes it feel like the video's alive and not just a still image.

I was a huge fan of the editing style of Game Theory and Film Theory but sadly the guy who did all their video editing committed suicide a few months back and thus while their videos are still great the editing style was lost and thus they are not as great (the editing) as they use to be. The videos are still awesome though.

I did enjoy GT's edits, really brought to those images to life, but it's unfortunate the editor passed away so soon :l

Haha, he's very mild manner, but his editing sure makes up for it in zest!

The only editors I'm aware of is Brad Woto

(I think that's his name) editor of PewDiePie (I love his comedic style) and the editors for Game/Film theory. Anywhere where the editors are allowed to have their loud finger print on videos (brad woto constantly puts in jokes now in Pewds videos and I love that) is a bonus for editing. Otherwise editing seems to be a kinda thankless task which we don't often think about.

And while I haven't paid much attention to Linus Tech Tips lately, their past editor Taran Van Hamert has made himself kinda famous for his video editing tutorials
