To be clear - not being monetized does not keep you from trying new stuff OR even start creating. But it means you need to find your audience first, before you can start thinking about monetization.

Obviously for most people it is not a financial loss but a motivational issue. This change is obviously targeted to the advertisers but their timing is just awful. Most people assume its their answer to the Logan Scandal which also obviously doesn't...
Nah - I don't think this will be a big problem. Some will do that of course.
But now there are already two obstacles before you do it. Knowledge AND Rules.
If you respect either of them you stop it. :)
